LGBT event changes venue due to high ticket demand
- Northern Pride, which organises free LGBT festival Newcastle Pride - sponsored by business improvement district NE1 - is moving its black tie ball event, which takes place on Wednesday 14th June to The Boiler Shop in Newcastle to cater for the increasing demand.
The evening, which celebrates the achievements of the LGBT community and highlights the challenges they face, will run from 7pm until late, and features a night of music and dance performances, along with a classic Motown set from the Shelley Stevens Show.
